Poor Analysis Can Lead to Undervaluing of Public Assets
Study completed by New York State provides an overview of public-private partnerships - Private Financing of Public Infrastructure: Risks and Options for New York State - June 2013. As recommended in the report, one of the key tasks that engineers are well qualified to complete is a comparison of project costs of traditional procurement methods versus project costs utilizing P3 agreements.
