How hot is it? In the first 10 days of summer, 113 million Americans were under an extreme heat advisory. Almost 350 homes were burnt to the ground and nearly five million people lost all electricity while cities like Nashville hit 109 degrees. Approximately 3,215 daily high temperature records were set in June throughout the United States.
The new face of mother nature - - more than just being a little unpleasant.
