A paragraph to ponder from the April 29, 2013 issue of ENR (Engineering News-Record):
"However, Krause {Alan Krause, CEO of MWH} says many municipal agencies are looking increasingly at facility optimization rather than building new assets. "Clients are integrating sophisticated data modeling, visualization and predictive analytics to get a system-wide or top-to-bottom perspective on their operations [to] make smart decisions," he says. This has put new emphasis on data collection and analysis by engineering firms such as MWH."
