Fortune has an excellent article on water this week - - What is Water Worth? by Brian Dumaine. One of the better "short" reads on the current state of our water constraints and opportunities.
Interesting quote from Goldman Sachs senior investment strategist Abby Joseph Cohen -
"There's no market price for water. Decisions are made by politicians on how water should be priced, which makes doing business tough."
Can the world of water purifiers, desalinators, nano-filter technologists, big data managers, and leak finders make money in a economic and political culture dominated by the notion that filling a private swimming pool is considered a free public good?
