Engineering Cool Design and Hot Science

It is hard to imagine that any student would consider becoming an accountant or mutual fund manager versus the opportunity to work on something like this.  I was at our town square this morning and spend ten minutes walking around a new Corvette in total awe.  No one walks around a 10-k report for 10-minutes.  The word "design" is a synonym for engineering - - and the word most linked to design is "cool" - - we just need to admit that engineering can be the intersection of cool design and hot science.  BMW and many others consistently get this point.
