Texas is the Most Vulnerable State to Climate Change

From the New York Times today by Neena Satlia - Texas, Leader in Greenhouse Gases Stands Vulnerable to Their Effects.  The "State of Denial" is becoming increasingly vulnerable to the forces of global warming and climate change. Our agriculture and coastal development could be the most vulnerable of all the 50 states.  Texas water constraints will also be a huge problem for our key urban centers - especially if it starts to dry up economic opportunities.

From the article:

"The state's climatologist, John Nielsen-Gammon of Texas A&M, projects that global warming will reduce Texas' water supply by as much as 15 percent in the coming decades.  But state agencies have not consulted with him on such climate change data, he said."
