An Engineer Looks at a Super Bowl Ad

Maserati - you spend $3,000,000 on an ad (not counting production costs) that maybe 3,000 people can buy.  The old cost-benefit analysis is not made for the world of advertising.

Ok - the car model is $65,000 (and 500 people probably know Maserati has an under $100 K car).  Maybe a good ad placement!!
